CrossFit Endurance



Inspired by Mark Spitz, the Michael Phelps of his generation, I was a competitive swimmer starting at a young age all the way through high school. After high school, I enjoyed doing various endurance activities from road races to triathlons for many years. On a whim in late summer of 2012, I tried my first CrossFit class at MSCF with Coach Rich and I had very little expectation. Up until then, I considered myself to be in pretty good shape for any physical activity. But after being sore for two days, I knew immediately that I had discovered my new athletic challenge.

After 2 years of CrossFit and all that it and Coach Rich had done for me, I felt it was time to help others down the same fitness path. In January of 2015, I completed my Crossfit L1 Trainer certification and have been a part time coach since the summer of 2015. The MSCF community has a lot of endurance athletes like me, so in October of 2015 I completed my CrossFit Endurance certification in order to help them achieve their fitness goals.

When not at the gym or at my “other” job as a software engineer, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Shelby and Otto. They can be seen at the gym almost as much you’ll see me!
