Nutrition is the foundation for fitness. You can’t out-exercise a bad diet. That’s why at Mountain Strength CrossFit, we offer a comprehensive nutrition program designed to help fuel you correctly, improve your health, and instruct you on food choices that will help you reach your goals.

We want to improve the lives of those in our gym so they can improve the lives around them. We want to be the place where you can come to be better and stronger both physically and mentally.

Founded in June 2008 as an outdoor Fitness Boot Camp company, Mountain Strength Fitness.

We were officially accepted as a CrossFit affiliate on November 4, 2010.

A MOUNTAIN IS DEFINED AS:

“A natural elevation of the earth surface rising more or less abruptly from the surrounding level and attaining an altitude which, relatively to the adjacent elevation, is impressive or notable.”

STRENGTH IS DEFINED AS:

“The quality or state of being strong; Mental, bodily or muscular power”

MOUNTAIN STRENGTH CAN BE DEFINED AS:

“A natural elevation of the quality or state of being strong from the surrounding levels that is impressive or notable.”

Having already been going to my CrossFit gym in CT for 3 years, I didn’t know what to expect from Mountain Strength. After attending classes now for 6 weeks, I can say that this gym is phenomenal. Rich and his staff are very positive and approachable, offer a wealth of knowledge, and place a strong emphasis on form over weight or reps. Athletes can feel secure knowing that while they will be pushed to new heights, their health and safety are always first. Rich also offers a Spartan SGX course, designed for athletes interested in obstacle racing. Highly recommended!
