Having already been going to my CrossFit gym in CT for 3 years, I didn’t know what to expect from Mountain Strength. After attending classes now for 6 weeks, I can say that this gym is phenomenal. Super friendly and knowledgeable coaches, high quality equipment and a welcoming and supportive community make MSCF a superior CrossFit gym!

Rich and his staff are very positive and approachable, offer a wealth of knowledge, and place a strong emphasis on form over weight or reps. Athletes can feel secure knowing that while they will be pushed to new heights, their health and safety are always first. Rich also offers a Spartan SGX course, designed for athletes interested in obstacle racing. Highly recommended!

Great drop in workouts the past couple days! Excellent coaching! Made me feel like I was at my box Crossfit Traverse back home!

Rich Borgatti is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. This shines through in his gym, MSCF–if I lived in the area I would absolutely send my whole family to train with Rich and his team. Five stars.

In 1 year at MSCF I was able to improve my max lifts deadlift, clean, squat and snatch from my previous best done in my early 30s. Over this time I also was able lose 45lbs while adding muscle. I was coached every session on my technique which lead to new PWRs and encouraged which helped motivate to get fit.

Awesome educated and caring coaches, great athletes. Love visiting and dropping in for workouts and love the atmosphere. Folks in the area would be silly not to be a member at Mountain Strength!

Thank you Mountain Strength Crossfit! While in Boston I found your box online and was so happy I did. Not only was everyone really friendly but the training was excellent! I had a great time- even during Lumberjack 20! I hope to visit you all again in the future( just not in the winter- brrrr!)

Reminded again this morning why MSCF is so great – my classmates and coach cheering me through a very hard workout which I really wanted to quit halfway through. The coaching and community here cannot be beat.

Five KISS Tips For Meal Preparation

When people learn I am a nutrition coach, one of the first things they often say to me is “Oh, I wish I had more time to eat healthy food, but I’m just too busy to cook.”  I get it.  I really do.  I was a trial attorney for twenty years, a partner in my own law firm...

From Flab to Fab: My Nutrition and Fitness Journey

I always hated sweat and dirt.  As a result, I spent most of my childhood with my nose in a good book.  My individual athletic career (ice skating, gymnastics and ballet) pretty much ended before my tenth birthday when I realized I had neither the aptitude nor the...

Renegade Rowing at MSCF
