CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

I started at Mountain Strength Crossfit in the fall 2015 after having spent my first year of crossfit at Crossfit H2O in Medford. Even though I went to the gym after college and was doing some mountain biking, I was never consistent. I was naturally lazy and bored when it came to my health and eventually I realized I needed to be held accountable for it. Crossfit fixed both of those issues for me.

I played baseball and ran track in high school for a few years, but some leg injuries ended my short lived career. I spent my last year of high school and all four of my college years avoiding the gym, except in short bursts like a winter vacation or parts of summer…not really enough to reap any benefits.
Since starting Crossfit I’ve lost over 25 lbs, converted to a mostly paleo diet, improved my strength, and have gotten rid of some of those nagging injuries from my past. I still have a lot of things I want to accomplish physically, but becoming a coach was more of a mental challenge I wanted to accomplish. My background is in data analytics, so I needed a way to engage the right side of my brain again. When I’m not at MSCF, I’m usually with friends, watching good TV (while doing mobility), or out eating sushi…and hopefully will be spending more time on my mountain bike this fall and in the future.
